Welcome to Lights Up!
Lights Up Theatre is a summer theatre program under the artistic and administrative direction of Cory D'Arco and Brendan Kenney (both Wakefield High School Alumni) that allows students entering grade 7 through their first year of college to participate in a professional musical production with a qualified staff and wide range of theatre exposure. Our mission is to provide LUT actors with a strong knowledge in acting technique, vocal technique, as well as rehearsal and performance etiquette while maintaining a fun, upbeat atmosphere.
LUT rehearses out of the Wakefield High School cafeterias and music wing from 9am-2pm, Monday through Friday for our summer show.
Lights Up Theatre is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization under the Wakefield Public School system.
